From the acadmic year 2018-2019, the Aritotle University of Thessaloniki [AUTH] Dept of Medicine is running the MSc in Public Health & Health Policy under the coordination and responsibility of the Laboratory of Primary Health Care, General Practice and Health Services Research
Targeting the research, education and professional training in Public Health and Health Policy the programme is focused mainly on the following topics:
- health, society and environment associations
- contemporary aspects of the global governance of health
- the challenges on health systems provoked by the economic crisis, the austerity policies, unemployment, global market, migration and refugies mobility
- the NGO's interference with health care
- health and socioeconomic implications related to the COVID19 pandemic and its management
